Live Happy and Healthy life
We
are supposed to be happy and healthy naturally, like the little kids
are. Unfortunately as we grow older we loose this ability. The causes are
many, but the fact is, it takes effort to get back to where we started.
It
does take an effort to get well, but it also gives you great
rewards. The problem that many of us have is not the effort itself, but
the information overload, where to start and who to believe.
There
are a few basic steps that anybody can take to get started:
Eat well
¨
Eat well
means to eat little but good.
¨
Eat only
when you are hungry. If you eat when you are bored or depressed, get
yourself busy. Find something that you like doing so it won't be difficult
to do.
¨
Eat in small
quantities; you don't need to be full, just not hungry.
¨
Most of your
diet should consist of fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meat, fish, eggs,
seeds and nuts.
Exercise.
¨
Find
exercise you like, it will be easier to stay with it.
¨
Walk more,
drive less, park far.
¨
Respect your
body, pay attention to the symptoms.
Maintain a positive attitude.
¨
Focus on
today.
Yesterday
is gone, and there is nothing you can do about it. Tomorrow is not here
yet, and you never know what it will bring. Allow yourself to be
surprised.
¨
Accept
things you can't change or influence. Focus on changing the ones that
are up to you.
¨
Remember
yourself as a child, not the times you were hurt, but the times you were
happy. Try to remember what made you happy, what kind of person were you,
what were your dreams.
¨
Find the
things you like to do, things you are very good at doing. Do these things on
a regular basis. Make a decision to become the best you can be doing these
things.
¨
Don't
perceive yourself as a failure, but as someone that can succeed if you set
your mind on it. Set your mind on it.
There are no failures in life, just a stepping stones toward our success.
